Project “Cancer Biomarkers in HUNT” receives 300.000$ additional funds from the ALCF-IASLC Joint International Fellowship Award for The Early Detection of Lung Cancer

Robin Mjelle, Ph.D. and researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, was awarded a first-time foundation grant of $300,000 for his innovative work in the identification of biomarkers for the early detection of lung cancer. The grant was assigned by the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation (ALCF) and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC). These funds will support Dr. Mjelle’s activities in the context of the ‘Cancer Biomarkers in HUNT’ project, where MXM and University of Crete participate.
